What This Role is About
You’ll be the face and heart of our RV owners group, The Newmar Klub, building an engaged, thriving community for our members and volunteers. It’s all about creating meaningful connections between RV owners, sharing incredible experiences, and being the go-to leader who knows how to make every member feel like part of something bigger.
What You’ll Be Doing
· Community Leadership:
o Build and nurture an active RV community, fostering a positive and welcoming vibe
o Stay connected with members to understand their needs, wants, and concerns
o Support and enhance exciting events, from rallies and meet-ups to virtual education and caravans
· Engagement and Content:
o Develop compelling content for newsletters, social media, and forums that keep members inspired
and involved
o Share tips, tricks, and stories about RV living, spotlighting member adventures and showcasing brand
passion
o Lead the charge on member-to-member engagement, encouraging connections and shared
experiences
· Advocacy and Representation:
o Be the voice of the Newmar Kountry Klub, advocating for member needs and preferences
o Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to make sure
members’ insights are heard and valued
o Represent the group at rallies, and occasionally industry events and trade shows
· Growth and Membership:
o Develop strategies to grow the community and attract new members who share the RV lifestyle
o Create programs or perks that make members proud to be part of the group
· Operations and Planning:
o Keep the Klub running smoothly by overseeing budgets, schedules, and event logistics
o Support, serve and lead the Klub’s volunteer officers across all levels and personalities of the Klub,
keeping Klub officers engaged and mentoring the next generation of Klub leaders
o Set goals and track the group’s success, adjusting plans to make sure the community thrives
What We’re Looking For
· Natural Leader: Someone who inspires, motivates, and knows how to build strong connections with
people
· Passionate RVer: You love the RV lifestyle and understand what makes this community special
· Creative Communicator: Excellent at telling stories, sharing ideas, and creating excitement through
social media, newsletters, and live events
· Organized Multi-Tasker: Capable of juggling event planning, community engagement, and strategic
growth without missing a beat
· Team Player: Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and supporting to broader company
goals
What You’ll Bring to the Table
· 5+ years of experience in community leadership, marketing, event planning, or related experience
· Knowledge of RV culture, trends, and what makes RVers tick
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· A knack for building relationships and making people feel welcome
· Confidence with basic budgeting and digital tools and platforms like social media, email marketing,
and community forums
