Welcome to Region One of the Newmar Kountry Klub. We are Larry and Mary Roberts of Atascadero, CA and are your new Region One Directors. Both of us grew up in the small California beach town of Morro Bay, just 15 miles from where we live and raised our family. We have been together since high school. Wow! Who does that anymore?

After over 35 years of RVing our journey with the Kountry Klub started six years ago on the Oregon coast. While in our Newmar that we had owned only a couple of weeks, we pulled into our assigned spot at the Winchester Bay RV Park. Next to us was another Newmar and long story short, it was Marty and Marion Marcum, NKK Region One Directors. That night over a shared campfire they explained what the Kountry Klub was and we joined the Klub that night.

Since that chance meeting we have served as California 49ers Chapter Presidents and then California State Directors for the last two years. We will do our best to fill some big shoes as Region One Directors.

Region One consists of six southwestern states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah. Along with a Region One rally we have state and chapter rallies along with breakfasts and luncheons throughout the year. We invite any Kountry Klub member, regardless of your home chapter or state affiliation, to attend any of our Region One functions. Always check the Klub calendar for event dates.

After our six years in the Klub, we come full circle with our friends as we accept the reins of being Region One Directors from Marty and Marion. We’re excited for the adventure and look forward to meeting all the Kountry Klub members we can during our time as Region Directors.
