We are Ben and Donna Barker, your Washington State NKK Directors. We have been directors now for three years and have been enjoying meeting so many wonderful Newmar people in our travels.
We have been living the motorhome lifestyle now for 30 years, and we are currently on our seventh motorhome. We are on our second Newmar product, the first being a Ventana; and currently we have a 2018 New Aire, and we love it. We are not fulltimers; we spend our winters at our home in Bellingham, Washington, just 12 miles south of the Canadian border.
When we are not on the road, we spend time volunteering. Ben is a Vietnam veteran (US Navy) and serves as the Chaplain for the local American Legion. They perform military honors at funerals for local veterans that pass away. I volunteer at the local Salvation Army in the social services department, and I serve on the family selection committee for our county affiliate of Habitat for Humanity.
