Washington Evergreen Aires – Presidents

Greetings from the Evergreen Aires! We are back in the Pacific Northwest after wintering in Casa Grande, Arizona and then traveling to Montana in May for a family celebration. While springtime does provide some beautiful weather here in Western Washington the locals often frequently refer to June, as June-uary while patiently wait for the post July 4th summer weather to settle in and give us the glorious 6-7 weeks of summertime splendor that makes this the place to be in July and August.

As summertime approaches, we are busy preparing for the 2023 Evergreen Aires Chapter Rally and business meeting that will be held on June 25th-29th in beautiful Sequim, Washington. We are very excited to have a full rally and the chance to gather for fellowship with our Newmar friends. Keep your eye out for the August/September Legacy article, we will be sure to include some pictures and details of the good times.

Unfortunately, our plans to attend the Region Nine & Alberta Wild Rose Chapter Rally in Banff had to be scuttled when that rally was cancelled. Our summer travel plans after the Evergreen Aires rally now are to just wing it and travel serendipitously to see where the next adventure takes us. We will report on how that all works out in a future article.

Don’t forget about the Washington State Rally near Spokane, Washington on September 6th-10th at the Northern Quest Casino RV Park. The timing is perfect to then head to the International Rally on September 30th in Sedalia, Missouri.
