Washington Evergreen Aires Chapter – Presidents
Greetings from the Evergreen Aires. The Pacific Northwest boasts a magical allure during the Fall. Whether you live in this area, or considering a visit, you will not be disappointed in the visual spectacle of your journey through mountain passes, coastal highways, or the many charming towns.
As the hint of Fall descends upon the Pacific Northwest, we find ourselves eagerly preparing for our journey to warmer climates. Departing from the beauty of Washington State we made our way through several stops in Oregon and onto Nevada where we visited family before our arrival to our spot in Arizona for the winter season. The contrast between the lush Pacific Northwest and the arid landscapes of the Southwest are a testament to the diversity of our great nation.
As the Fall transitions into winter, we find respite in the warmth of Arizona. We have exchanged our flannel shirts and hiking boots for tee shirts and flip flops, and as we enjoy morning Pickleball, afternoon poolside visits, and evening firepit gatherings. The allure of Arizona’s sunny blue skies, beautiful sunsets and pleasant temperatures provides the perfect backdrop for camaraderie and shared experiences among our fellow RV enthusiasts.
We are already thinking about January when we are planning to attend the Quartzsite Gathering in the Desert. This annual Newmar rally, held in the iconic Quartzsite, Arizona, is a testament to the unity and spirit of the Newmar Kountry Klub where we come together to “rough it” in the desert. We are looking forward to seeing many friends there!
To all our fellow Evergreen Aires Chapter members and all of the Newmar Kountry Klub, safe travels and we hope to see you out there on the road.
