We are so looking forward to cooler weather and hope that your travels this fall will find them also. It sure has been a strange year for weather and hope that each and every one of you have stayed safe in your summer travels. Fall and hopefully cooler weather is a great time to get out and enjoy the turn of green to beautiful colors of fall and campfires in the evenings. Fall also brings the start of football season and tailgating with family and friends who become family. We hope that if football is a part of your fall routine it is a great year for your favorite peewee, high school, college, or professional team.
We made a trip to Colorado and Monument Valley in July and can we just say WOW!! Beauty was all around us and it reminded both of us how much we take for granted the treasures we have in this country to see. The Great Sand Dunes National Park and the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park are not as crowded as the other parks but no less important. They offer beautiful landscapes and views. In Monument Valley we were in the minority as American tourists. We met so many people from Europe who had flown to the states, rented RV’s and were traveling this country seeing the National Parks and Monuments. These people had some planning skills. Their insights and questions reminded us that we truly are blessed. If you have not made it to Monument Valley, it is a must on everyone’s bucket list. It is magical and inspiring!
The International Rally will be in the books at time of print, and we hope that all who attended had a great time. Thank you to the Klub Office and all the directors from the International, Regional and State level for your hard work and special thank you to all the Volunteers that helped. Without each of you, none of these rallies can take place.
