Allen & Natalie Jones (21339)
Oklahoma State Directors
The weather is getting warmer, and we bet that most of us are ready to get those coaches un-winterized and ready to hit the road for the adventures and fun that await each of us. The anticipation of heading out to explore this great country is such a rite of passage. Whether you are headed to a National Park, state campgrounds, Newmar rallies or an epic road trip, we hope that it will be the best ever.
At time of print the Oklahoma Spring Rally will be in the books. Thank you to all those who helped make this rally happen. These are only possible because of all the volunteers. We appreciate each and every one of you. Thank you also to Prairie Grass Productions LLC for bringing a little bit of Oklahoma’s and the wild west history to life with your stories of historical legends of the old West. The following characters became a part of our Friday night entertainment. Bill Tilghman, Belle Starr, Frank Eaton, Bass Reaves, Heck Thomas, and Chris Madsen thank you again. The group was able to visit several museums in the Muskogee area including the Three Rivers Museum and the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame. The added bonus was the Azalea Festival in Honor Heights Park that is a favorite spring activity here in Oklahoma.
Thank you also to Evan & Debbie Hughes, Newmar Members-at-Large, for attending and providing lots of great information about the Klub. It was great that you could be a part of our rally.
Don’t forget the Region Three Rally has also been added and will be held in Branson, Missouri June 14th –18th. It sounds like it is going to be a blast with lots of fun activities. We hope that you all will be able to plan your spring and summer adventures around attending this rally. The International Rally is September 30-October 7 in Sedalia, Missouri. Registration is upon us, and we hope that, if able, you can attend. Region Three will be responsible for Parking and Registration. If you are interested in helping, please let Region Three Directors Larry & Patsy Wood know. We helped last year, and it was a great way to meet Klub members from all over the United States and Canada.
In your travels, be sure to check out any Newmar Kountry Klub events along the way that pique your interest.
Allen & I hope that 2023 will be full of travel and new adventures along with making new friends and meeting up with old friends along the way.
