West Virginia Traveling Mountaineers – Presidents

Finally finished cleaning and polishing the coach, ready for our first trip out this summer. I know it does seem a little late, so let me explain. We arrived home from our winter in Florida at the end of March, and a few weeks later I had surgery to replace my left knee joint. Apparently, this can slow one down a bit! What with doing PT almost every day for weeks and doctor visits, there wasn’t much time or energy to think of getting on the road. So unfortunately, we missed the Region Six Rally and the West Virginia State Rally, but are gearing up for our chapter rally at the beginning of August.

This will be held at the Little Beaver State Park, near Beckley, West Virginia. Arrival date is August 3 and departure August 6. Apart from the usual fun and games, we will visit the Beckley Coal Museum and the Three Rivers Avian Center. Further details are in the NKK calendar. Hope to see many of you there.
