Chuck & Michelle Steenwyk
Region Six Directors

Hello everyone!! Wow! What a FUN and busy start to our rally season. We have hosted the Region Six Rally in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Attended the TRI-STATE Rally in Shipshewana, Indiana, hosted by Kathy Morren. Thank you, Kathy, for a fun fun rally!! They were both great rallies with some first time rally attendees at both rallies! May was a very, very busy month, indeed!

The Region Six Rally had a little hick-up 2 ½ weeks prior to our arrival date. The campground we were scheduled to be at called us and told us that the campground had been SOLD. The new owners felt that they were unable to accommodate our rally. We, along with the new owners and Ron & Wanda Llewellyn scrambled to find a new location. Thankfully, we were able to find a new location the very next day! The Washington County Fairgrounds in Marietta, Ohio came to our rescue. Thank you to our rally attendees for their flexibility and willingness to make the change. A huge THANK YOU to the Washington County Fairgrounds for hosting our rally at their facilities!

Thank You to all of you that attended the Region Six Rally!! We had a great time with lots of laughs, good food and fun. It was wonderful seeing old friends and meeting new ones. We had attendees from every state in our region along with a visit from our International Directors Ron & Wanda Llewellyn.

We would like to THANK RALPH & NANCY DENNIS for their many years of service to the state of Kentucky and the Newmar Kountry Klub. Ralph & Nancy have decided to step down from their position as the Kentucky State Directors due to ongoing responsibilities at home. We have truly enjoyed their friendship and working alongside them. They brought many laughs to any rally that they attended. THANK YOU AGAIN RALPH & NANCY…..you will be missed.

We have received several inquiries from people wanting to volunteer their time to drive shuttle carts during the International Rally in Sedalia, Missouri. Thank you for your willingness to volunteer. If anyone else is interested in volunteering to drive a shuttle cart during the rally you may sign-up during registration at the International Rally in Sedalia, Missouri. We will have a table with a sign-up sheet in the registration area at the International Rally.

We are looking forward to attending many more rallies along with the International Rally and seeing many of you there!!

Wishing you all safe travels and a fun summer filled with many new adventures! We can be reached by email: cmsteen1@hotmail.com.
