Region Six Directors

Summer is in full swing, and it is hard to believe that we are over halfway through the season up here. Several of our states have held their state rallies already. All the state directors did an AMAZING job planning and hosting their rallies!! THANK YOU!!

We just want to recognize our amazing state directors and all that they do. Bill & Beth White (West Virginia State Directors) had coach issues on the way to their state rally. They immediately shifted gears, got a hotel room, packed up all their rally supplies and put on a flawless rally out of their truck. They cooked us a meal, we played games, had fabulous prizes and went on a tour. We also want to recognize Brenda Warren & Randy Sortet who were behind Bill & Beth on the road. They stopped and loaded their refrigerator with most of Bill & Beth’s food items for the rally. Newmar Kountry Klub has the best Klub members! Thank you to everyone else who helped Bill & Beth. Beth made the comment that they would probably be replaced as state directors due to the mishap…. we told them they just proved how flexible they are, and you can have a successful rally under any circumstances.

Steve & Phyllis Thornburg (Indiana State Directors) along with Connie Miller & Terri Ault put on a GREAT Rally!! We had lots of wonderful homemade food. Games were played to win prizes. The Cummins tour was a huge hit with those that went on it! Phyllis even had crafts for those of us that chose not to go on the tour. In the evenings it was fun to sit around a campfire at night and just visit and catch up with people and get to make some new friends.

We are now looking towards the Michigan State Rally hosted by Marv & Von Visser (Michigan State Directors) August 9-13 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We will then shift gears and go right to the Hudsonville Fair (Chuck is on the fair board) during the rest of August. At the end of September, we will travel to the International Rally September 30 – October 7, in Sedalia, Missouri. Region Six will be helping Region Three with parking and registration. We are in charge of shuttle cart service (sign up in the registration area) during the rally…. if you would like to volunteer…. we can use you!!
