Michigan State Directors
So here we are, already into late summer. For some of you, you’re coming off the Alaska Cruise, for others you’ve attended many rallies already this summer along with family vacations, traveling out of the warmer areas of the country to cooler northern states. We just wrapped up our State Rally, touring some of the history of the automotive era from The Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village.
We also have attended several rallies in other States and have more planned yet this year within Michigan. Along with some of our family interest in our beautiful Michigan’s upper peninsula, that we look forward to each year. Then we are looking forward to the Newmar International Rally in Missouri. This was the 1st rally we ever attended in 2017 and it’s been a wonderful experience meeting new people and making new friends within the Newmar family, so we encourage you to attend. It’s always a good time and a learning experience for all.
That said, attending local, state, and region rallies always proves to be a good time, and we encourage you all to think about hosting a weekend rally, it’s not hard. Be open to do simple things, talk to chapter officers and us. We’re here to help, but we need you to help also. We are all volunteers, and we all benefit from the work we all do. Attending rallies is fun and enjoyable for all. When we read all the articles in this magazine, we find interesting areas to travel to and things to do. It will help you plan new adventures.
Hope to see you in Missouri. Stop by say hello. We also have volunteered for shuttle carts, so you just might get to ride with us.
