Hi, we are Jim and Donna McAllister from Conway, New Hampshire. We have been the New England Aires co-presidents for the past few years. We both grew up in the seacoast area of the granite state and then moved to the Maine coast as we got into Sailing.
I believe our camping experiences started while boating with our children when they were younger. We spent many years cruising the Maine coast on a sailboat and later with a power boat. We have so many great memories of weekends and vacations on the water together.
We purchased our first motor home (a Newmar) at the 2017 Tampa RV Show. We decided on a bunkhouse model as we envisioned trips with our grandchildren and hoped to carry on the same family times on land as we had on the water.
We now find traveling in our motor home is giving us wonderful experiences whether traveling with our grown children, grandchildren or just on our own. Following the advice of a friend, we joined the Newmar Kountry Klub in 2017, and on our way back to New Hampshire we attended our first rally. We felt welcomed by everyone we met. We have continued going to as many rallies as we can fit in, and it always feels the same. We meet great people and have made many valuable friendships.
