West Penn Travelers – President, Secretary and acting Treasurer

As I write this article, we are getting ready to leave sunny Florida and head north, hopefully to some milder weather. It has gotten pretty warm and sticky here the past few weeks. We will make a stop at the Region Seven Rally in Gettysburg and hope to meet some new friends from throughout the Region.

I am pleased to report that our Lake Erie Rally is set for June 5-9 at Sparrow Pond Campground in Waterford, Pennsylvania just south of Erie. We have 28 coaches booked to attend. By the time you read this, we will have already had the rally and will report highlights in the next issue of Legacy Magazine.

In early fall, we look forward to the Penns Friends Rally in Gettysburg then a Pennsylvania State Caravan to Sedalia. West Penn Traveler member Wayne Morris and I are leading a group arrival to the International Rally. A group of 13 coaches, known as the Pennsylvania Caravan, will arrive on the early parking day, September 29th and be parked together. Having a bunch of friends parked together makes the rally even more enjoyable and allows everyone to spend time together.

Hopefully in my next article, I will be able to report the election of new officers of West
Penn Travelers, including a new Treasurer, and a preview of the 2024 West Penn Travelers Rally.
