Penn’s Friends – Presidents

Hi to all Newmar friends. We are still in Florida. The weather is rather warm like it is in the summer months. We got together with many of our Newmar Klub members. Great to see everyone that came to Florida. Always a great time with our Newmar friends.

Unfortunately, we were not able to come back in April as we usually do to Pennsylvania. We are having work done on our RV, which we scheduled early in March but the time for completion has changed. We are looking at mid-May for the most important items to be taken care of, to be able to head North again. Some of the items that North Trail is replacing include house batteries and four windows. We don’t want to have a problem with all the travel coming up this year.

If everything goes as planned, we will make it to the West Penn Travelers Rally in Erie, Pennsylvania. The Penn’s Friends Rally will be on September 18-22, at Artillery Ridge Campground. This campground is owned and operated by the same campground we went to last year in Hershey. I spoke to them as of this newsletter and she confirmed they have 18 reservations, with 4 openings. The campground number is 717-334-1288, mention you are with Penn’s Friends Rally. You can see more about the rally on Newmar’s website. This rally will be great and plan on continuing with Pennsylvania State Directors Rally to the International Rally. This will be a great trip to the International Rally. Anyone that would like to go on Pennsylvania State Directors Rally to International Rally can join us at our first stop at Buckeye Lake KOA. More information is on the Newmar website.
