Pennsylvania State Directors

As we write this, summer is quickly coming to an end. High school football season is in full swing, and our grandson is Middle Linebacker and Captain of his varsity team. Lucky for us, the school live streams his games so the ones we miss in person we will be able to watch streaming.
Last week we had the pleasure of attending the Hudson Aires Rally in Harpursvile, New York, put on by John & Diane Svatek. What a great time was had by all. It was a beautiful setting on top of a hill overlooking the valley with picturesque mountains in the background.

As this is written the Penn’s Friends Rally is scheduled for September 18th-22nd in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Nancy Imler and Sue Brenneman are the hosts and have 21 rigs scheduled and a jammed packed agenda for 4 days while we are there. They have done a fabulous job putting this rally together.

From there, Sue and I are hosting our State Directors Rally which is going to be a Caravan Rally to the Newmar International Rally. We have 16 rigs signed up for this Caravan. This will be a 7 day caravan with stops in Ohio, Illinois, and Missouri. Meals and activities in all 3 states. We are looking forward to a great time during this caravan with Tom Watson and Wayne Morris being the Co-Host/Wagon masters.

Speaking of the International Rally, our group once again hosted the Caring & Sharing program. As always, we collected new stuffed animals in gallon Ziplock bags for the 1st Responders and Police, dry goods and canned foods as well as cash for the local Salvation Army and cleaning supplies, paper towels, and cat and kitten food along with cash for the Sedalia No Kill Animal Shelter.
