Pennsylvania State Directors

The title of this article is going to be “The End is Near”.

“The end is near” for 2024. We have attended five rallies this year and have enjoyed all five. Since our last article, we attended the International Rally, put on our State Directors Rally at the Pocono Long Pond Racetrack, attended the Region 7 Rally at Swan Bay RV Resort, and the Penn’s Friends Rally in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

 

“The end is near” International Rally…Caring and Sharing was a huge success raising of $39,000 for three different nonprofit organizations. As this year comes to a close, Sue & I are resigning as Pennsylvania State Directors, so we will no longer be involved with Caring & Sharing in the future. It has been our distinct honor and privilege to be part of this program over the last seven years. To be a small part of serving others in the community in which the International Rallies are held has been truly humbling.

 

“The end is near” …To serve as State Directors for Pennsylvania has also been a privilege and honor. We believe Pennsylvania has the two best chapters in the entire Klub. The leadership of each of these chapter’s is superior, the willingness of each member to volunteer is unbelievable, and the heart of caring for others in each Klub is just unbelievable. Each chapter continues to grow in membership and strength, which we could not be more proud. We will continue to be a member of each chapter and offer our support wherever we can help and attend each of their rallies.

 

The State Directors Rally was a fun filled event. From the train ride through the Gorge at Jim Thorpe, to the Trolley ride through the Delaware Water Gap, to driving our personal cars around the Tricky Triangle Pocono Racetrack at speeds up to 100 MPH, we all had fun. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention three hot breakfast and four dinners along with two lunches. The argument…was it a 5 lb. rally or a 10 lb. rally?

 

I don’t want to steal the thunder from our Regional Director, or our Penn’s Friends, but both rallies were superb, and they outdid themselves.
