New York State Directors
From east to west, north to south, New York State offers a variety of camping options with beautiful scenery and opportunities to explore. We’ve enjoyed rallies in the Thousand Islands, Lake George, Catskills, and central New York at the Villages RV Park at the Turning Stone Casino.
While holding a rally in a state park is difficult to schedule, we recently enjoyed a family camping week in Letchworth State Park south of Rochester. Letchworth is known as the Grand Canyon of the East, with three waterfalls and miles of hiking. Our loop was pet friendly with 30 or 50 amp electric hookups, some ADA sites. Water spigots are separate and spaced throughout the loop, bathhouses are clean, and there’s a dump station, no sewer hook ups. Perhaps a SPUR rally could happen if people are able to navigate the Reserve America site. Another new (in the past few years) state campground is the Frontier Town campground in North Hudson, not far from Lake Placid. This offers equestrian campsites suitable for group camping as well as large, beautiful sites elsewhere.
Next June 6-9, the New York State Rally will be in the Finger Lakes at a new campground, the Finger Lakes RV Resort along Seneca Lake in Hector, New York. We are looking at the many options for activities and tours to offer at this rally. Twenty-five sites are being held for us until December 31, 2023. Please book your site and register by then. Look for the registration information on the Klub Calendar. Join us for a fun time!
