Mid-Atlantic State Directors and New Jersey Garden Aires Secretary

Hello from the Garden State of New Jersey! It’s hard to believe that it is already August, how fast the summer is going!

In May we had the pleasure to attend the Region Seven Rally in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania hosted by our Region Seven Directors, Steve & Joanne Wyble. With 44 coaches in attendance, they pulled off a phenomenal rally. They deserve a pat on the back! Due to extenuating circumstances, we also brought three of our young grandsons to the rally. They were thrilled to attend their first Newmar rally and made themselves very useful by being servers to the 91 attendees during meal times. They did so well that they received a round of applause at the end of the rally!

While at the rally we had the great fortune to develop a new Chapter named the “Chesapeake Travelers.” Four volunteers immediately stepped up to the plate to become the Officers of this new chapter. With these new officers we feel that this is a confirmation that a new chapter will be very successful in this area. Barbara & I are working with these new Officers to get them up to speed on what it takes to have a successful chapter. Please wish them well with this new endeavor.

Along with the formation of this new chapter it was decided that our role of being the New Jersey State Director will now encompass this new area and we will now have a new title called the “Mid-Atlantic States Directors” encompassing New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, and the District of Columbia.

And we are happy to announce that the Mid Atlantic States Rally will start on May 2nd and end on May 5th. It will take place at: Ocean City Campground and Beach Cabins, 245 NJ-50, Ocean View, New Jersey. Rally Fee TBD.
