Chuck and Lynda Gumeson are proud to have been selected to be Colorado State Directors of the Newmar Kountry Klub. Many thanks to Pat and Marylin Gaffney, our predecessors, for a great job. We hope to keep up the momentum that you two have gained.
Chuck and Lynda, together with their 12 week-old Golden Doodle MJ, live in Centennial, Colorado, just south of Denver. We have been camping for decades. Tents, popup, travel trailer, small motorhome and now our 2018 Newmar New Aire. We love our “Magic Bus” and are amazed at the quality and technology that has been engineered into it by Newmar. We particularly love Newmar rallies and especially the many friends that we have met at them.
Chuck is a retired electrical engineer who spends much of his winter days working on projects to enhance and upgrade the Magic Bus. Lithium batteries, solar panels, RO water system, Pepwave cellular router and systems are a few of the fun additions. This winter’s projects include more solar panels, Starlink internet and a direct current powered air conditioner. When not pulling wires in the motorhome, he plays golf and rides his mountain bike in summer and skis moguls in the winter.
Lynda keeps very busy with coordinating rallies and managing Klub activities. She enjoys e-bike rides with Chuck and plays golf when she can. She is passionate about animals and contributes to their welfare by writing grants for the Grand County Pet Pals, which is the supportive arm of the Grand County Animal Shelter. She loves finding work saving or space saving solutions for the Magic Bus. She adores her grandchildren and tries to find ways to spend as much time with them as possible.
We have enjoyed our tenure as Colorado Kruisin Aires Chapter Co-Presidents and have learned a lot about the Klub and Newmar rallies. We hope to use our past successes to transition into the Colorado State Director tasks.
