We are Danny and Merri Estrada, your new California State Directors.
Like many others we started out camping in tents, pop-ups, trailers to 5th wheel and then our 2017 Ventana 4041. We enjoyed many family camping trips that brought our families together with plenty of food, fun and laughter. We live in Gilroy, California, and whenever we’re on the road we take our spoiled 6 year old Havanese, Micah Grace.
Together we have over 60 years of volunteering. We also served as chair persons to many other organizations. They include Ducks Unlimited, Green Wings, Jr High and Highschool Marching Band and RV Wagon Masters, to name a few.
Danny retired from UPS as a Business Manager after 33 years. Merri had owned her own business for 24 years then went into Healthcare Administration then retired in 2019, just before Covid-19 hit.
We really enjoyed the camping lifestyle during our working years and knew when we retired we wanted to expand our boundaries and increase our comfort while traveling. Newmar was the perfect fit for us. Then we joined the Newmar Kountry Klub in 2017. We instantly knew the Newmar Kountry Klub experiences is what we enjoyed. After attending rallies and making friendships, we were asked to be officers of a chapter. We decided to proudly serve as the California 49ers Chapter Vice Presidents.
Danny and I look forward to serving our members as best we can and are proud and honored to be selected as the California State Directors.
