Larry & Mary Roberts (21041)
Region One Directors
Spring is in the air and with it comes the start of rally season for the Newmar Kountry Klub. Region One got a head start in January with the Golden Aires hosting a rally at Lake Elsinore in Southern California. Great location, 43 coaches and their wonderful owners, as super weather made for a great rally! Many thanks go to Joel & Jennifer Miner and their officers for a job well done.
Mary & I want to congratulate Joel & Jennifer on their successful tenure as presidents of the Golden Aires as they step down and turn the leadership role in the Golden Aires over to Randy & Marialice Peat. Joel & Jennifer are actually planning to spend more time on the road and see many of the bucket-list places they have not had time to get to as yet. We wish them safe travels.
We’d also like to welcome Randy & Marialice Peat to their positions as the Presidents of the Golden Aires. We’ve had a chance to spend time with them as they served as officers in their chapter and are confident that the chapter is in great hands!
We are into April and Region One has three rallies happening- starting with the California State Rally in Palm Desert followed a week later by the Arizona Sun Catchers Rally in Tucson and then the next week the California 49ers host a rally in Tuolumne. It’s a busy month!
June then sees the New Mexico Chile Peppers hosting a rally in Angel Fire, New Mexico, followed the next week by the Colorado Krusin Aires having their rally in Palisade, Colorado. We hope you’re signed up to attend one or more of these fun rallies heading into the International Rally in Pueblo, Colorado. This year’s International Rally promises wonderful fellowship coupled with many fun activities and a few new twists that we feel you’ll enjoy along with Newmar bringing over 50 Newmar Techs to the with rally to do some work on our coaches. Hope you’re planning to attend this year and as of this writing there are a few sports still available, so if you haven’t done so, get registered.
Mary & I hope to see you at a Region One rally soon! We can be reached at email region1newmarkountryklub@gmail.com, or cell 805-459-1653.
