Welcome to the June/July Region One edition of the Newmar Legacy Magazine. It has been a while since Mary & I have been able to get the coach out and rolling down the road, but we were just able to travel to Monterey for the California 49er’s Rally. Congratulations to the 49er officers for a wonderful rally with great food and amazing activities. We all did an escape room on Cannery Row and our 6-person team ran out of time – we died in a submarine in a nuclear explosion somewhere in the Pacific Ocean but still had a great time trying to figure it out!

We had a two-day turnaround and then were off to the New Mexico Chile Peppers Rally in Ruidoso, New Mexico. From there we will make a mad dash to the California State Rally in Grass Valley, California and then home for a week before heading to the Utah Pathfinders Rally in Coalville, Utah. Two weeks later is the Colorado State/Chapter Rally in Durango, Colorado. After that we have a break before joining our Newmar family on what I’m sure will be a wonderful Alaskan cruise. I hope many of you are joining us on the cruise at the end of July!

For those of you planning to attend the International Rally in Sedalia Missouri, Region One is once again tasked to oversee food service. Many hands make short work of any task so please sign up at registration to assist with at least one of the meals. It’s fun and you get to interact with many of your fellow Newmar friends while making new friends as well. Luckily, we don’t cook, we just serve and help clean up. Don’t forget, food service volunteers eat first!

We’re still working on a Region One Rally for the first full week in November and should have details by the time you read this Legacy.
