NEW MEXICO CHILE PEPPERS

Everyone in a Newmar still seems to be busy. Not so much with work, even though some of us are still working, but mostly time is spent with enjoying our families and friends. No matter what you plan or when you plan it, there are going to be lots of people who can’t make it. Well, we are trying to make sure that whichever month you are free or whichever month you visit New Mexico, you will have an opportunity to gather with your Newmar friends in New Mexico.
We are very close to our first “Hangout” during the Festival of the Cranes in the Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge of Socorro, New Mexico that runs December 11-15. We will also hold a Chile Pepper Luncheon on December 13 at the Owl Café in San Antonio, New Mexico. We are hoping these events work for our members in Southern New Mexico and the Albuquerque area. We will follow the New Year with lunches in January and February.
Our rally season starts with the Elephant Butte Chili Pepper Rally April 14-18. This one promises to be lots of fun in a great location. Did you ever wonder what to do with all the rocks in New Mexico? We will explore where to find the right rocks, how to turn them into polished rocks, and then, how all the best rocks turn into our famous jewelry. We’ll also roll a few round rocks down a bowling alley and knock over some pins, and finish with trophies! With all that exercise and fun, some of us are going to choose to soak in the renown hot springs of Truth or Consequences or oil up for a massage. It’s food, fun, and rock hounding in the New Mexico Springtime! The Elephant Butte Rally will open for registration soon, so check the Newmar Kountry Klub Calendar of Events and let us know you are coming.
How do you follow that up? Hint: some of it involves focusing on our Green Chiles or Native Dancers, or even Airplanes. Shoot…we might even throw in a Rodeo!
So, if you haven’t heard, we are pretty creative in New Mexico, especially when it’s about having fun with friends. So, to keep up with our fun, read each edition of the Legacy magazine and the Klub Calendar on the Newmar Kountry Klub website.
Take a look at our Chili Pepper Facebook page. If you join that group, you will know everything about the Chili Peppers antics as they happen. It will also give you a chance to suggest things we should plan for you. To make it easy, we developed a QR code for your connectivity convenience.
