Nevada State Directors

290 tons of material per load is the capacity of this truck. Mike & Mickey Fisher, presidents of the Nevada Mother Lode Chapter and the co-hosts of the 2023 Rally, made arrangements for us to tour the Marigold mine outside of Valmy, Nevada. We were greeted by the mine’s general manager and given information about the mine’s operation from the director of safety to one of the chemical engineers. Our tour included ascending to the operator’s level of the ultra-haul truck to a view of the mining operations. We thank Mike & Mickey for making the arrangements and a special thanks to the staff at the SSR Marigold Mine for making our tour so memorable. The joint Nevada State/Mother Lode Rally was small, but we could not have done it without the help of Bob & Teresa Billings-Solomon, California State Directors and Max & Penny Nuttal, thank you.

Our travels since we last visited with you were to our International Rally in Sedalia, Missouri. Our new International Directors Duane Paige & Laurie Hunt were introduced and shared with us that the 2024 International Rally will be held at the fairgrounds in Pueblo, Colorado the last of July to the first week of August. Pueblo is in the shadow of Pike’s Peak, and we hope to see you there!
