California 49ers – Presidents

Over the last month we have attended the Utah Pathfinders Rally in Coalville, Utah, visited Steamboat Springs, Golden, Canon City and Durango, Colorado where we enjoyed the Colorado Krusin Aires Rally. We would like to thank our rally hosts Eric & Gayle Bruce, Utah Pathfinders Presidents and Chuck & Lynda Gumeson, the Colorado State Directors. Each one of these rallies was a lot of fun with different activities including a train ride, a soup and chili cook-off, a walking history tour of Durango, and a Chuckwagon Dinner and Show. I would encourage anyone traveling outside of their chapter or region to try and attend rallies in different locations. We met a lot of new people at both rallies and had a great time getting to know them. We hope to see them again at a future Newmar event.

We will now be heading north to Idaho to visit family before heading to Bend/Sisters, Oregon so Nancy can attend a Quilt show. We will then make our way down the Oregon coast visiting more family. After we leave Oregon on our way home, we will meet up with our Vice Presidents Danny & Merri at a top-secret location to plan next year’s rally.

Unfortunately, we will not be attending this year’s International Rally in Sedalia, Missouri, but we encourage anyone who would like to experience an International Rally to attend. The dates are September 30th – October 7th.
