Wisconsin State Directors
The Wisconsin Northern Aires Chapter was chartered in the year 1987 under the name of The Kountry Badgers. They were the nineteenth (19) chapter in the Newmar Kountry Klub. Their first Rally was at Goose Island in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. At this Rally they changed the name to the Wisconsin Dairy-Aires. In 2007 the name was again changed to the current Wisconsin Northern Aires. Wisconsin is part of Region 4 which consists of Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North & South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
The first State directors were Stan and Betty Patasha from LaCrosse, Wisconsin.
The President was Kent Holst of Holcombe, Wisconsin, Vice President was Jane Reynolds of Menomonie, Wisconsin and Treasurer/Secretary was Mary Holst from Holcombe, Wisconsin.
This is all the history we have until 1999 when the State Directors were Tom and Charlotte Horton. We have no record of president and treasurer, but the Vice President was Maynard Rosenberg and Secretary was Joann Schilling.
In the year 2000 Terry Bengtson became vice president and 2001 became president. In 2004 he became State Director and held the dual role of president and state director from 2004 until 2019.
In 2009 George and Theresa Korycan were welcomed into the club and in 2015 Theresa Korycan became treasurer.
In 2016 Jim and Dolly Eggert attended the International Rally in Pueblo Colorado where we met two couples from the Wisconsin Northern Aires and the rest is history. Jim and Dolly Eggert became members in 2017 and 2018 Dolly Eggert became vice president.
In 2018 Debbie and Gary Oseland joined the club.
In 2019 Sue Schiltz was elected president. In 2021 Sue and Scott Schiltz became State Directors and Dolly Eggert was elected president; Kevin King became vice president. At this time Jan Gundrum was secretary and Theresa Korycan was treasurer. Beverly and Wayne Splitgerber joined our club.
In 2021 Debbie Oseland became secretary and Matt and Sue Teresinski joined the club.
In 2022 Robert and Judie Healy also joined our club.
In 2024 Sue and Scott Schiltz stepped down from being State Director and Dolly and Jim Eggert became State Directors in 2025 and Debbi Springinsguth was elected president in 2025.

Our Klub holds Rallies May through September, and sometimes weather permitting, one early in October. After the rally season we switch to luncheons held at various restaurants around the state for those members who don’t go south or southwest for the winter.
The rallies are gatherings that last usually 4 to5 days and with activities, campfires, food, and lively conversation about traveling and our Newmars. We have potlucks or the host of the rally makes a reservation at a restaurant in the area. Friday nights we generally go out for a fish fry which Wisconsin is known for. Sometimes the conversation turns to a problem a member may be having with their coach, usually someone has had the same issue and can give a solution or something to try. We have even helped a member get a slide pushed in when the gear box failed preventing the slide-out from going in or even coming out.

September 10 – 14, 2025 Boulder Creek CG, Bagley, Wisconsin
October 2 – 5, 2025 Eagle Cliff CG, Lanesboro, MN ( joint rally with WI/MN).
