Greetings from Minnesota. Bear & I left our snowbird home in Arizona on April 1st. We took more than a month to get home because we attended four rallies along the way: the Arizona Sun Catchers Rally near Tubac, Arizona, the Aloha Aires rally in Fredericksburg, Texas, the Kountry Lone Stars South rally in Kerrville, Texas and the Oklahoma State Rally in Eufaula.

We also spent some time in San Antonio and Pella, Iowa for their tulip festival. We visited historic places like the Titan Missile Museum, National Museum of the Pacific War, and Lyndon B Johnson National Park. We ate wonderful food like German Wiener Schnitzel and Texas BBQ. We experienced new games and, of course, met many friendly Kountry Klub members. We want to thank the many Kountry Klub officers and members who devote their time and energy planning rallies for all to attend. Your efforts are appreciated and enjoyed.

By the time this is published the Minnesota Loons will have had their May Rally in St. Cloud and their June Rally in Granite Falls. Hopefully you made plans to attend the Region Four Rally in the Amana Colonies in July.

The Minnesota State Rally takes place Thursday, August 17, leaving Sunday, August 20th. It will be held at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in Prior Lake. Call them directly at 952-445-8800 to transfer a site from Dave’s name to your name and also register for the rally on Kountry Klub’s website. We plan to tour the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. It was voted Best Botanical Garden by USA Today Readers’ Choice Awards in 2019. 1,200 acres in size it features annual and perennial displays of plants developed for northern climates, a maze garden, Japanese garden, sculpture garden, Chinese garden, and the Tashjian Bee and Pollinator Discovery Center. In addition, we will spend a day in Excelsior visiting the Minnesota Streetcar Museum, taking a ride and exploring shops and restaurants.

If you haven’t already, make plans to attend the International Rally in Sedalia, Missouri September 30th-October 7th.
