Hello from Iowa. The Iowa/Illinois State Rally was held in June at Clear Lake, Iowa. This picture was taken at the Surf Ballroom where Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper gave their last performances on February 2,1959, just before dying in a plane crash. “The Day the Music Died”. We also visited the plane crash site, had a group photo with the large Buddy Holly glasses.

A great time was had at the International Rally. We want to thank all of our volunteers for helping us with seminars.

Hard to believe rally time is over all ready and everyone will be heading to their winter homes. We had a great year for rally’s this year. Safe travels till we meet again.
