Carl & Gayle Webber (20143)
The Carolinas (NC/SC) State Directors
Hey, y’all … As we’ve mentioned previously, these articles are written about a month before the Legacy is published – and it is currently hotter than a branding iron fix’n to scorch a hide! This time last year, we were in Nevada, and the temps here in the Piedmont Region of North Carolina are comparable to those we experienced then. But this too shall pass – ‘cause it’s Fall, y’all! 😊
With Autumn comes rallies, and we are looking forward to several in the coming cooler months. Of course, the 37th NKK International Rally will be history by the time you read this. Immediately following that event, we’ll be making tracks to the North Carolina Outer Banks for the Region Five Rally, which we are honored to co-host with our amazing Region Directors, Gary & Wanda Smith. Then it’s on to Tybee Island, Georgia to meet-up with friends from Florida. The second week of November, we’ll head down to Myrtle Beach to attend the FCOC Rally, then be back down there again for the annual South Carolina/North Carolina Christmas at the Beach Rally the first week of December. If you’re interested in joining the fun for that gathering, go to the NKK Klub Calendar to check for availability.
Since you are reading this, you are obviously a member of the Newmar Kountry Klub (NKK) at the “International” level – but have you checked out your local chapter … especially, you North Carolina and South Carolina folks? Do yourself a favor; reach out to your local chapter officers and remedy that situation! You can also just register online for an upcoming rally and see for yourself what you’ve been missing. BTW: Contact information for the two Carolinas chapters (North Carolina Tarheel Kountry Klub and South Carolina Palmetto Pals) is included in their respective articles. You can also contact either of us if you have any questions. We hope to meet you at an upcoming rally soon! We can be reached at dc3carl@gmail.com /younggrammygayle@gmail.com 704-225-7442/ 704-619-1851.
Happy travels, y’all … to wherever your Newmar takes you!
