Phil & Charlene Budd (9488-L)
Tennessee State Directors
What happened to December/January and February/March? Here we are April/May and my pea sized brain is asking “What Happened”? I know y’all don’t have these thoughts! But I have found that “Brain Fog is real”! “I’ve Fallen and I Can’t get Up” is now in MY Vocabulary, and not something that is funny anymore. I surely must snap out of these crazy thoughts and fabricate what is/has happened in April/May on this 16th of February.
April is here!! Well, I know Charlene & I are having a great time at the Florida State Rally hosted by Florida State Directors Greg & Margie Harrop, at all places “Camp Margaritaville”, advertised as a “LAID BACK” Florida State Rally.” In my many years (45 years to be exact) of USAF and UPS flying and spending many days crew resting in Hawaii, I KNOW WHAT A MARGARITA is and how one can be “LAID BACK”, or “Down and Out”! Greg & Margie, thank you for a wonderful easy going, relaxing, fun filled rally.
May is here!! We get back home in time to rest up and head to beautiful Spring Lake RV Resort in Crossville, Tennessee to sit back and enjoy a Tennessee Volunteer Chapter Rally with Rally hosts, Julie & Scott McCalla, and Bill & Angela Mannion. We are so looking forward to meeting and building friendships with all the new chapter members. Thank you, Julie, Scott, Bill & Angela, for a great Chapter Rally and look for many more to come. Tennessee members, it is now your turn to jump in and host a rally. Hosting is fun, builds leadership, builds new friendships, keeps your coach rolling!!
Onward to Talona Ridge RV Resort, East Ellijay, Georgia to bask in the mountains with Mid South Tri-State Directors, Jim & Barb Watson, for another of Jim & Barb’s fantastic, fun filled yearly rallies. Jim & Barb always find unique, exciting, one of a kind adventurous places to visit. Thank you, Jim & Barb, for a great time.
When you read Sheryn Ward’s Volunteer Kruisers Chapter President article, she has some great ideas of getting your coaches ready for “Rally Time”, after having parked it for the winter; if you are one of us that are not “Snow Birding.”
