Region Five Region Directors
Spring is finally here. The southern part of the United States, Georgia, and Florida in particular, has had an unusually cold and wet winter. It has been quite some time since we had temps in the teens here at home.
As for Region Five we are in the middle of our STATE RALLIES. Details of these great events will be in the next issue of Legacy. Thanks to all the rally hosts and volunteers. Thanks to all our members for supporting these events. Without you and your camaraderie we would not excel as a Klub.
As you probably know, Jim Watson, Mid-South Tri-State Director has stepped down. Since Barb’s passing in July, Jim has done an awesome job in this position. Jim still plans to be active in the Klub. He will be at International and at many events this year. Thanks, Jim, for your service. We love you.
Planning for the International Rally is heating up. Region Five will be responsible for supporting the Newmar Parts, Service, Suppliers, and the New Coach display. Let’s not forget about Card Bingo and the Pet Contest. Speaking of Pet Contest, this event has grown in popularity over the years. If you have not attended the event, make plans to do so. Thanks to all the Region Directors, State Directors, and volunteers for your service to the NKK.
In closing I want to thank you for your prayers concerning my cancer. As this is written, I completed my four treatments at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. In March I had my first CT scan since July. If you follow the Facebook page “Prayers for Pa,” you should know the results. I am not the only one in our Klub with medical issues. Please pray for all our members and their needs. God has the answers.
Lots of things to do as you travel. Please check the Calendar of Events on the website often.
