Gary & Wanda Smith (16540L)
Region Five Directors
What a year it has been for Wanda & me, both personal and for the NKK Region Five. Ron & Wanda Llewellyn, two of the hardest workers, have transitioned to a new role in the Klub. Duane Paige & Laurie Hunt have assumed the role of International Directors. We look forward to seeing where they will take the Klub in the coming years.
The Region Five Rally in the Outer Banks of North Carolina was a success from what we have heard. We had 103 coaches registered at one time. We ended with 89 coaches in attendance. Good food and GREAT Camaraderie were enjoyed by all. On Sunday evening we enjoyed the entertainment by Molasses Creek, a local band. On Monday we had a guided tour of the Chicamacomico Life Saving Station.
As I write this article, I am in Tampa getting ready to receive my second treatment for this cancer. I cannot say thanks enough for the prayers and cards received. The Newmar Family is so thoughtful and caring.
We have many members with various medical issues that need those prayers. Please lift them up to the Lord daily.
In closing Wanda & I want to say thanks to two of the best State Directors a Region Director could ever ask for. Thank you, Phil & Charlene Budd, Tennessee State Directors and Greg & Margie Harrop, Florida State Directors, for the years of service to the Newmar Kountry Klub. You will be missed as Directors, but we still look forward to rallying with you.
Below is a listing of rallies in our region. Always check the Klub Calendar on the website for the latest events and updates.
