What a year it has been so far. I’m writing this short report in the middle of August. Carole & I just returned from the NKK Alaska Cruise. Wow, what a cruise. The food was awesome, the ship was fantastic and there aren’t enough words to describe what we saw in Alaska. For me the highlight of the cruise was the Hubbard Glacier. There have been many pictures posted on Facebook by now. We had three stops the Icy Straight Point, Juneau, and Ketchikan. The majesty and beauty of Alaska is unmatched anywhere else in the world.

We had several opportunities to fellowship and enjoy each other’s company. It was a really good time. The only bad things were that because of bad weather, our flight to Atlanta was cancelled. So, we spent about 36 hours in the Los Angeles airport and then we came home with “COVID,” and we have been fighting back for the past two weeks. I believe we have crossed the hump and are on the mend.

Now we are gearing to get some chores caught up around the house, making some basic plans for our own Peach State Krackers rally next year, and we will begin finalizing our travel plans to the 37th International Rally in Sedalia, Missouri and then on to the Region Five Rally in the Outer Banks, North Carolina.

Let’s continue to keep our membership strong by projecting our great family unity. To quote Gary Smith “Love God and Love Others”, and Lester Holt, “Take Care of Yourselves and Each Other.”
