Alabama Dixie Aires – President
We have finally left Florida and are traveling in our Newmar. We sure have missed not being able to attend some of the rallies that were held this summer, but it feels so good to finally be out and on the road.
The Alabama Dixie Aires held their annual rally at Windermere Cove, in Langston, Alabama, located on the beautiful shores of Lake Guntersville. The group toured the Unclaimed Baggage Facility and Museum, The Guntersville Museum, took an afternoon cruise on Lake Guntersville and enjoyed a catered lunch. Meals and games were held at the clubhouse. There was also some free time to tour the area on your own. It was a good time for all that attended.
Officers were elected during the rally at the business meeting. The following members were elected to serve as an officer for the Alabama Dixie Aires for 2024: President-Henry Blankenship, Vice-President-Joe Smith, Secretary-Gail Smith, and Treasurer-Bill Stanley.
We welcome two new members to the chapter. They are George & Theresa Korycan, long time members of the Wisconsin Chapter. George & Theresa joined the chapter after attending the rally.
Members are working on locating a venue for our next rally. When plans have been made, the information will be posted to the website.
The Alabama Dixie Aires are looking for Newmar Kountry Klub Members who live in Alabama or Mississippi who want to meet other NKK members and join a local chapter. The Dixie Aires have one rally a year where members get together and enjoy good food, play games, attend events and attractions and sit around and talk about their Newmar product. We have members with many years’ experience and knowledge with their Newmar that you can learn from. Also, when you make friends with a Newmar owner, you make friends for life.
