Jim Kennedy – President
Greetings from Northwest Indiana. The summer seemed to fly by, and we are preparing to leave for the season. We are heading to Michigan to see grandbabies, Nappanee for RV maintenance and then to Colorado. Later we go to Georgia for the Region 5 Rally, on to Florida Keys for the Pelican Welcome Back Rally and then Fort Myers for the winter.
Welcome to our new Pelican members Doug Byrd & Susan Shettler and Hank & Betsy Knoblock. The Pelicans & Buddies look forward to meeting you at NKK Events, Pelican rallies and luncheons. Please visit our Facebook page called Newmar Florida Pelicans and the NKK website for upcoming events.
A new Bird has also arrived. You can order your Florida Pelicans club shirt (hat available too). Wear the new club shirt or wear your yellow club shirt. All shirts and Birds are welcome in our club. I big thank you to Allen and Gerry Smith for making this possible.
Don’t forget to sign up for our annual Holiday Gathering on December 4th at the Audubon Country Club, Naples, Florida. And finally, register for those Pelicans monthly luncheons in SW Florida. Watch the NKK Calendar for both events and lunch locations at some of SW Florida’s favorite restaurants. I can be reached at jimk293@comcast.net; cell 219-484-3708.
