Greg & Margie Harrop (20694)
Florida State Directors
The past couple of months Margie & I have travelled up through Florida into Georgia where we camped out at Carroll’s Sausage & Country Store in Ashburn, Georgia just off of I-75. If you have never travelled there stop in overnight at the nice little campground and get a $10.00 gift card to shop at their store. Margie & I came away with some great sausage and meats.
We then continued on up to Stoney Creek Trailer Park, Cornersville, Tennessee, right off of I-65 an hour south of Nashville, Tennessee, for the Tennessee State Rally. This rally was a good one put on by Phil & Charlene Budd. We also met up with some old friends and made new ones too. Needless to say, we ate good (10 pounder). We had a couple of campfire nights where everyone got together, and the stories were bountiful.
On the way back home, we stopped in to see Ms. Alice (Greg’s 103-year-old mom). Took her out to her favorite restaurant where she got her chocolate pudding, chocolate ice cream and then some baked fish. Hey, when you’re 103 you finally get your priorities straight (desert first).
Now that we are back home, we are getting the coach ready for our summer trip up to Massachusetts to visit with our son, grandkids & family.
So, until we meet up again, take care, stay safe and keep the rubber side down. “Remember, “The best part of any journey is the people we meet along the way.”
