Donna Jones & Bill Stanley (20599)
Florida State Directors
It feels so good to finally be on the road again. We do enjoy being at home, but then our feet begin to itch after a while, and it is time to hit the road. Our travels the remaining of the year will take us to Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, Alabama, Georgia and back to Florida. We will be able to add Nevada to our US map of states where we have spent the night with our coach. We need to head to the East coast and fill in some of those states.
It is time to say “we wish you the best of luck” and “see you later” to Gary & Wanda Smith, Region 5 Directors, who have after 8 years as Region 5 Directors have decided to step down and enjoy a new chapter of their life. Gary & Wanda were truly dedicated to the Newmar Kountry Klub and it showed. All of their rallies and other events were always top notch. They have provided great leadership and mentoring to the ones that have worked with them. They will certainly be missed. We are not saying “goodbye” because we hope that we will still see them around at some of the NKK events, but in a different capacity. Gary & Wanda we love you, we will miss you and truly wish you the best of luck with whatever comes next.

RV Resort in Layton, Florida. Fifty sites have been reserved and registration will begin on August 14th online at the NKK website. We will be doing the Old Town Trolley Tour at Key West, Theatre of the Sea Tour, Dolphin Research Center, Pigeon Key Tour and nightly sunset socials at the Sunset Point Tiki Hut. 2 breakfasts and 3 dinners will be provided. Rally Fee are available on line under the Klub Calendar.
Do you enjoy what the Newmar Kountry Klub has to offer? Tell other Newmar owners you see or meet along the way about the Kountry Klub. We have met Newmar owners at campgrounds that have never heard of the Newmar Kountry Klub. Let’s all continue to grow the Kountry Klub and Chapters. Also, get involved with a local chapter by hosting or co-hosting a rally or becoming an officer. It is a great way to meet people and is a lot of fun. Florida now has four local chapters; Florida Manatees, Florida Pelicans, Emerald Koast Sandpipers and the Florida Sea Turtles.
Remember, “A journey is best measured in friends, rather than miles.”
