Communication- It’s the one thing all of us talk about. How do you communicate with other members of the Klub? How do you get your information? One way is right in front of you, the Legacy Magazine. The Magazine is printed every other month and you either get it mailed to you or you read it on the internet. Once a month The Happenings, an email Newsletter, is sent out by the Klub Office which gives you the highlights of what is going on. But there are so many other ways. We know that not everyone is on Facebook, but if you are, there are many pages sponsored by the Newmar Kountry Klub. The main Klub page has been revamped so that members can post, ask questions and share knowledge. All of the nine Regions have pages as well. Some are more active than others. And there are even Chapters that have pages to share information and events. Many Chapters also have wonderful newsletters they send out to their members. Regional Directors and State/Provincial Directors often send out updates and information for their areas. One chapter even holds a “Zoom” meeting when they cannot meet in person just to keep in touch.
All of these means of communication take a bit of time to produce, some are simpler than others. But remember this is your Klub and your involvement is greatly appreciated. Think about writing an article for your chapter Newsletter, or make a post on Facebook. Review an area you like to visit and share it with others. In a world of negativity let our Klub share the fun of why we travel. Include a picture of a beautiful sunset or sunrise. Have you discovered a great location to ‘glamp’? Or a restaurant that others should eat at when they visit an area? A few words of wisdom from your years of travel, or a funny thing that happened along the way.
If you have had a great experience with a Newmar Dealer, write it up and pass it along to the Klub Office. There is a section in the magazine for Dealer Appreciation. Have you perfected a recipe for traveling, share that as well. We all enjoy something new to cook. It’s the sharing of our experiences that bring our folks together and make this the wonderful group we are, but it takes all of us.
As we embark farther on our journey into 2023 we fondly remember our travels over the last year. We enjoyed good times with new and long-term friends. We spent our holiday season in Tennessee and enjoyed a white Christmas with family. Now we are off again on our travels. Below is a list of our upcoming rallies. We look forward to meeting with fellow Kountry Klub members and hearing your ideas about how to improve your experience in the Klub.
