Dear Klub Members:
We have nominated, and the NKK Board of Directors (BoD) have approved, Jerry & Sue Argabrite (23163) for the position of Regional Directors-Special Events. Sue & Jerry have accepted, with an effective date of March 15, 2024.
The NKK is fortunate to count the Argabrite’s as members and for their interest in serving our members by leading this important activity. Sue & Jerry have the professional background and RV tour group experience, with proven leadership, performance, and potential. Sue has an educational background, and an advanced degree, in food science, and Jerry has an educational background in life sciences and an advanced degree in business. Jerry is a USAF veteran, and both have had successful careers with Anheuser-Busch.
The Argabrite’s have been RVing since 1993 and have a deep and broad experience in participating and leading RV tours, caravans and special event tours. They began their special event career with Winnebago Itasca Travelers (WIT) in 2010, and have participated in over 70 tours, have led 35 events, and have hosted 12 special event tours for the Newmar Kountry Klub. Since last summer, Sue & Jerry have developed an NKK Tour Host Handbook and are currently leading an NKK Tour Host Training Academy and Host Certification Program. This will provide an even more interesting, more consistent, and higher quality adventure for our fellow members and will greatly expand the capacity for the NKK to provide and fulfill bucket-list adventures for our members.
The RD-Special Events will provide the expertise to lead a team to develop tours and adventures to complement the International Rally, further fulfilling “making the trip worth the diesel”. They will also oversee the team developing and hosting of Stationary Adventures – those that involve camping in your coach in a single location (Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta, Washington, DC tour, etc.), Caravan Adventures – those that involve the coach moving from location to location (Grand Circle Caravan, Alaskan Caravan, etc.), and Other Adventures – those without the coach but still having members of the NKK Family (Hawaiian Cruise or Panama Canal Cruise, etc.). They are all Bucket List adventures that you can share with a group of people that you already know and with whom you love to travel, your NKK Family.
