The New Mexico State Rally will be held September 17-21 at the 2026 National Air Races in Roswell, New Mexico. If you were pilot or aircraft mechanic, or just an aviation enthusiast, this is a must trip. Maybe you just like things that are fast. Whatever your excuse is, it’s going to be remarkable. It’s also a perfect stop on your way to BalloonFest!

Rally Fee:           $1,400 double; $900 single

Our rally will focus on the finals for the race, with guest speakers on the history of the races and Roswell, as well as UFO activities. After all, Roswell is the center for interstellar air travel!

The rally camping site is at the Roswell Air Field; we are limited to seven coaches. We will be dry-camping at the airfield (water and sewage trucks should be available).

Ticket and site reservations will open in mid to late March. We are planning on Box Seating so everyone will be together with drinks and snacks in our cooler. Our tickets will include access to the Ramp on both days to allow us to wander through the aircraft and meet the crews. Your rally fee includes: 4 nights RV parking (dry camping), 2 museum trips, tickets to the races, 4 continental breakfasts, 2 dinners, and a welcome social.

The full race is scheduled from September 14–20, 2026 with five categories of aircraft that will range from bi-planes to the super sonic, and include the Blue Angels. Visit the website AirRace.org for details.

The races are held by RARA (Reno Air Racing Association) and have recently moved to Roswell. We are negotiating with them to keep the rally fees reasonable. The fee will be $1,400 for a two-person coach; $900 for single. A deposit of $920 double; $660 single for secure the advanced tickets and RV parking.
