06-02-2027 | Pure Michigan Special Event

Registration will open on Wednesday, November 4th at 1:00PM EST.

Come experience Pure Michigan—a place where storied cities, sparkling waterways, and legendary landmarks come together in one remarkable journey. Our adventure begins in Ann Arbor with a welcome dinner at the Gandy Dancer Restaurant, set inside the beautifully restored 1886 Michigan Central Depot. From there, step into America’s inventive past at the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village, then discover year-round holiday wonder at Bronner’s, the world’s largest Christmas store, in Frankenmuth.

Let the scenery unfold on a relaxing riverboat tour before gliding by ferry beneath the soaring Mackinac Bridge. On Mackinaw Island, the clip-clop of a horse-drawn carriage sets the rhythm for a leisurely tour. From the Grand Hotel’s famous covered porch, take in sweeping views of the Straits before savoring its celebrated luncheon buffet. Then cross the nearly five-mile-long Mackinac Bridge and head north for a close-up look at the engineering marvel of the Soo Locks.

We will visit the U.P to feel the mist and hear the thunder at the Upper and Lower Tahquamenon Falls. At the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum at Whitefish Point, uncover dramatic stories of courage, commerce, and perils on the inland seas. Then board a guided cruise along Pictured Rocks, where Lake Superior meets towering cliffs, colorful mineral-streaked walls, and wave-carved formations.

Journey into the Keweenaw Peninsula and the heart of Michigan’s mining heritage. Descend into a historic mine, explore an iron smelter, and hear the stories of the people who forged a life from the land. Complete the experience with an authentic miner’s lunch featuring a traditional pasty.

Celebrate Father’s Day with lunch and a tour at historic Castle Farms, where nearly a century of stories lives on. In Traverse City, step aboard a three-masted schooner for an unforgettable tall-ship sailing experience, followed by dinner. Free time offers a chance to explore the city’s inviting streets or sample wines from the surrounding region. In Grand Rapids, encounter presidential history at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum and inspiring art and landscapes at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park.

Raise a glass to miles of memories at a farewell dinner at Boatwerks Waterfront Restaurant, overlooking the tranquil waters of Lake Macatawa. From grand hotels and historic villages to rushing waterfalls and wide-open lakes, this is Michigan in all its beauty—and the adventure promises even more.
