| Activities being planned include a tour of the Oak Ridge American Museum of Science and Energy. This is where work was done on the Manhattan Project. We will visit the K-25 History Center, and visit the Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
A tour of the Mayfield Dairy Farms Visitor Center in Athens, TN will allow a glimpse of ice cream magic being made and of course a scoop of famous Mayfield Ice Cream at the end of the tour. The Sweetwater Valley Farm tour is also being planned. The farm is famous for their cheeses. Before or after the tour, we can visit the cheese shop and enjoy a complimentary tasting of all of their cheeses. There will be a free day in the middle of the rally to explore Knoxville. Your hosts will provide suggestions to enjoy. Please note all the events are subject to change. |
