IDAHO SPUDNUTS

Walt & Teresa Huntsman (25518)

Incoming Presidents

When we made plans to attend the Region 2/Washington State Joint Rally in Coeur d’Alene in September, we expected to have a good time. And we did. What we didn’t anticipate was that we would be returning home as co-presidents of the newly reconstituted Idaho Spudnuts chapter of the NKK. But here we are. Guess you can’t keep a good spud down!

As we write this, we are preparing to head south for the annual rally of the Utah Pathfinders in Kanab. While there, we will no doubt pick the brains of that chapter’s presidents, Eric & Gayle Bruce, as we try to hit the ground running and get this incarnation of the Spudnuts off to a good start.

In the lead up to planning our first chapter rally for 2025, we are relying on input from those who have decided to join us in this adventure of rebuilding the Idaho Spudnuts. Especially as we are still relatively new to both the NKK and the rally experience. Joining us in officer roles are Cliff McBroom as Vice President, Roger & Debbie Moreland as Treasurer, and Robert & Brenda Braun as Secretary.

We travel as much as we can in our 2005 Mountain Aire and have been members in the NKK since January 2022. So, we obviously still have plenty to learn. But we have had the opportunity to meet some great people, and that’s really what the NKK experience is all about.

Idaho is a beautiful state, and we hope we can share some of that beauty with others. If you are interested in becoming a Spudnut or have ideas for us as we go forward, contact us at huntsmanbiz@gmail.com or 208-891-4986. Potatoes rule!
