The travel season is in full swing and West Penn Travelers has already concluded our annual rally that took place June 2-6, in Milroy, Pennsylvania. As a new President of West Penn I was nervous for the first rally under my direction. I had capable veteran planners in Ron & Deb Leofsky to help my wife and me in doing the work to hold a rally. I also had help from my State Directors, Wayne & Sue Burke to help with any questions that popped up.

The rally was held at a new campground, Hartman Campground, in Milroy, Pennsylvania. We were the first large group to stay, at what is shaping up to be, a beautiful location with very nice sites. If you are planning a stay near Penn State, this is a good choice. We toured the East Broadtop Railroad and Trolley along with a day at Penn’s Cave touring their cave and taking the Wildlife Tour. Surround those activities with meals to gather with new and old friends, play a hard-fought Cornhole tournament or a fun PickleBall tournament, spend a day biking or sneaking off for Penn State Creamery ice cream and you have the makings of what was a wonderful rally experience. I want to thank all the attendees and hope all the NKK members make note of our June 1-5, 2025 rally dates.

With our rally behind us for this year, we can look forward to the rest of the travel season. As this is written, we have plans to travel to the International Rally in July and then spend most of the Fall in the western half of the country. We hope everyone has plenty of travels to look forward to this summer/fall season. Please travel safely and enjoy your time on the road.
