Hello from Western New York State. As I write this article, we just finished up with two of our rallies. Our Southwoods rally hosted by our great host Chris Foley and the New York State rally hosted by John & Diane Svatek. What a great time we had at both of these rallies. The Southwoods rally was at Southwoods RV Resort in Byron, New York and the New York State rally was at Finger Lakes RV Resort in Hector, New York. For those of you that have not been to Western New York and the Finger Lakes Region of New York you don’t know what you are missing out on. The Finger Lakes Region is one of the largest grape and wine growing areas in the Country. On either side of the RV park we stayed at, are two winery’s that are within a couple minutes’ walk. Also, in a 20-minute drive you can be at the Watkins Glen International Race Track. Voted the best NASCAR track in the Country. Other things that you can do are: Taughannock Falls one of the largest waterfalls in the Eastern U.S., The Glen Curtiss Transportation Museum, Corning Glass Museum, and Letchworth State Park also known as the Grand Canyon of the East. I could go on and on about all the great and beautiful things to see and do in New York State. If a trip to New York State is not on your list of places to visit, it should be.
