We are saying goodbye to 2024 and looking forward to 2025. This winter will not be slow however since much planning needs to be done to make sure next year is a fun filled season of new adventures. Ohio has so many possibilities.

 

Our winter will consist of a trip to Gaffney, South Carolina, for rig maintenance and a stop in Savannah on our first trip ever to Florida for a couple of months, which will include attending the Rally in the Keys. We couldn’t be more excited about that rally.

 

Our 2024 camping included visiting Shipshewana, Indiana in a shared rally, Old Roscoe Village in Coshocton, Ohio, followed by Twin Oast Brewery for a meet and eat and last, but not least, our Halloween Rally filled with memories of the many trick or treaters and a spooky haunted house.

 

We would like to encourage our fellow Ohioans to consider joining our Lake Erie Drifters Chapter. The more the merrier. We are always looking for new ideas, new personalities, and new perspectives. Your involvement would be greatly appreciated. Maybe even consider being a chapter officer or a rally host or co-host.

 

You may not realize that attending a rally, even on a small scale, can improve the economy of the area surrounding the rally. In a time when every penny counts, if you attend a rally and eat out even once or go to the grocery store, you are funneling much needed money into the local economy. You have a wonderful time, and you improve someone’s life a little bit.

 

There are so many ideas flitting through our minds for next year’s rallies, it is hard to sort through them all. Hopefully, we will pick venues you will find hard to resist.
