Since our previous Legacy article, we had planned on attending the New Mexico Chile Peppers Rally in Angel Fire, New Mexico and then the Colorado Kruisin Aires Rally in Palisade, Colorado. Unfortunately, our dog, Bodie has been very sick with Cushing’s disease and then the removal of a Cancerous tumor. He has recovered from the tumor removal, but the combination of medications did not agree with his system. We believe that Bodies’ issues are now under control, and he accompanied us to the NKK International Rally in Pueblo, Colorado.
Before and after the NKK International Rally in Pueblo, Colorado we visited relatives living in a small town named Timnath, Colorado just South of Fort Collins. They are also RVers so we made the most of our trip to Colorado by staying in Fort Collins Lakeside Resort and then up to Steamboat Springs.
It is time to re-check the NKK Calendar and decide which NKK summer and fall rallies you would like to attend after the International Rally. After the International Rally we will be attending the joint Region 2/Washington State Rally in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and then motor down to Yuma for the Region 1 Arizona State Rally and then on to our Nevada Mother Lode Chapter Lake Mead Rally.
Our 2024 Nevada Chapter Rally will be held at the Lake Mead RV Village in Boulder City, Nevada. In on October 27th and out on October 30th. We have reserved 20 sites although our maximum is 40 attendees due to the dining room size. Each attendee must phone Lake Mead RV Village, be sure to tell them you are with the Newmar Kountry Klub, make your reservations and pay a one-night deposit of $71.19. You will pay the remainder upon check-in in October. The rate quoted is with the Good Sam discount and includes taxes. All sites are the park’s premium sites, FHU. Note: When entering the RV Park make sure you have your National Park Pass or you will have to pay the entry fee by Credit Card (no longer taking cash).

Rally fee TBD because we have not yet firmed up possible rally activities as we are having the same issues as other Chapters in finding interesting but affordable venues. We hope to publish it with additional rally information after the International Rally.
