Cheryl & George Zellers – Nevada State Directors

At last, we have reached the end of what seemed to be a very long and hot summer.  Let us look back at not the heat, but the fun we had.  All the acquaintances we renewed and the many new friends that we made.  The job that Duane & Lorie did putting the International Rally together this year and in the short period of time they had was phenomenal.  It was a shame that property was stolen from our fellow Klub members.  Oh, did I say it was hot?  Our International Rally will be held in West Virgina next year.  There is so much to see in the area around West Virgina, it would be wise to start planning your travels now.

We would like to thank Mark & Linda Mulgrew for their help with the Poker Run at the International along with Suzie Schelbert. The three of them helped us make this year’s Poker Run a success; 288 hands were sold which allowed the Kountry Klub to donate $360 to the Salvation Army in Pueblo, Colorado.  Our thanks to all of you that played and hope that you will continue to support the Kountry Klub’s charity donations.

In a couple of weeks, we will be teaming up with Mike & Mickey Fisher to put on the Nevada Mother Lode Chapter/Nevada State Rally.  One of the planned guests is a Nevada State Trooper.  The trooper works with the commercial traffic and camps with his wife in their fifth wheel.  All of us will benefit from his knowledge and being able to relate to getting into and out of fueling stations, and so many other situations we find ourselves.
