Nevada Mother Lode – Presidents

We are still having low temperatures at home in Gardnerville, Nevada, so I put the Newmar back into its warm garage and am performing the required maintenance before we head out to the rallies we have signed up for this year. With snow and rain still raging this is also a good time to check the NKK Calendar of Events and decide which NKK Spring/Summer rallies you would like to attend in addition to the International Rally.

We are very excited about going to the NKK International Rally in Pueblo, Colorado in July/August but even more so now that we have relatives that moved from Houston to a very small town between Denver and Cheyenne. We will visit them before and after the International. They had never lived in snow country or in a small town before so it should be an interesting visit.

We are excited to announce that our 2024 Nevada Chapter Rally will be held at the Lake Mead RV Village in Boulder City, Nevada. In on October 27th and out on October 30th. We have reserved 20 sites although our maximum is 40 attendees due to the dining room size. Each attendee must phone Lake Mead RV Village, be sure to tell them you are with the Newmar Kountry Klub, make your reservations and pay a one-night deposit of $71.19. You will pay the remainder upon check-in in October. The rate quoted is with the Good Sam discount and includes taxes. All sites are the park’s premium sites, FHU. Note: When entering the RV Park make sure you have your National Park Pass or you will have to pay the entry fee by Credit Card (no longer taking cash).
