Region Eight Directors

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer travels because we all know it ends too soon.

We were saddened to hear of the passing of Ken Jenkins on March 26 this year. Ken & Marilyn were past Ontario Provincial Directors and Region Eight Directors in their Klub service. Their participation and enthusiasm for the Klub will be missed.

The members who participated in the Spring rally for the Muskoka Ramblers earlier this year enjoyed the campground and surrounding area enough to want to return to this location. Next year’s Muskoka Ramblers Rally will be held in Cathcart Park at Sombra in September. The dates are September 10-12, 2024. A fall rally is planned due to a prior commitment for Vincent & Angela for next spring. It will be a lovely location for a fall gathering so save the date to join us.

Speaking of next year don’t forget to mark your calendar for the International Rally in Berrien Springs, Michigan. Dates are July 13-20, 2024. It’s very close to Region Eight, and we hope to see some of our members there.

Lastly, it is time for Glen & I to step down from the Region Eight Director position. We have held this position for the past 13 years. We will be relinquishing our duties at the end of this year. Glen & I have been members since 1992 and attended our first chapter rally in 1993. Since that first rally, we have held an officer position in some form and at one point we were both Chapter presidents of two different chapters.
